Very good location, staff, and...

Liked: Dear Hilton Garden Inn New York Time Square.I want to extend my appreciation for the dedication and expert services throughout my stay with you in 1207 from 12/30-1/3/2025. From your intake and front desk staff, your security and door staff, to your housekeeping staff were all very friendly and accommodating!
Disliked: However, there were areas of improvement… including the need for better elevator service, night time cleanup, and supply of pantry; but all this is acceptable acquisition’s under the huge compacity your hotel was under. My biggest and most annoying issue was my room assignment. When I scheduled my stay with your hotel, it was my number one advantage of having a partial view of time square. Online I was shown the view from a partial view room; yes it was to the left but it had an on obstructed view. 1207 did not… it had a corner of the building next door and scaffolding obstructing the view. Allowing only a sliver of view of time square. When I registered in November, this partial view of time square cost almost $200 more per night than other standard rooms. I paid almost $700 a night for a sliver of view; pics available upon request of the advertised partial view and my actual sliver of a view. I spoke to Maurice my first morning; 12/31…. He apologized for the limited view but was understandably unable to relocate me due to being fully booked. However, I believe that I should be compensated for the lack of view that I was promised.
