Passable
Liked: Room was good, breakfast was ok .. but getting charged 201.93 twice wasn't. Also woke up this morning to other charges I didn't make. Sure hope this is resolved soon. Last I spoke to a manager the 201.93 is supposed to be refunded. But we shall see.

Disliked: Breakfast was not included, I had to pay an additional amount, which was a surprise because I according to what I booked breakfast was included.

Liked: Room was nice
Disliked: Advertised room service but after I ordered it I had to go down to pick it up and it was seriously over priced. If we'd known that we would've went out for dinner and drinks

Terrible guest service
Disliked: I was late getting back for check in, my car had gotten sideswiped son had to wait on authorities. I get back and told the gentleman at the front desk I needed to run to my room to use the restroom, and charge my phone so i could pay for the extra night. . I proceeded upstairs and my room phone started ringing over and over. I picked it up to him yelling and him.commanding me to.returm downstairs and that I could use the restroom down there. Then he proceeds to tell me I have 5 minutes to get out or he would call the police. 5 minutes later he is at my door with the police. I wanted to pay my extra night now that my phone had battery. The cops don't even know why they are there. I never yelled or raised my voice. It was 130 a.m., and negative 20 with the wind chill. I had to pack all my things in my car and find another room when I had to be up by 6 a.m. this gentleman was so very rude and disrespectful. I hope no one has to experience what I did that evening, That gentleman has no business in the customer service industry. .

I won't stay at the...
Liked: Everybody I dealt with was friendly, professional, and as helpful as they could be - the problem was that they were unable to be as helpful as we both wanted.
Disliked: 1. Apparently the company had just changed internet providers and it sent me (during the reservation process) to a third party company. That made it impossible for the desk clerk nor the manager to print me out a receipt!!!!! Obviously they were as frustrated as I was - maybe more so. It was obvious that the company did not provide the necessary training they should have on the new internet service.2. I have never before stayed in a hotel or motel room (and I have traveled extensively) that did not have a single piece of paper or literature. No maps, no advertisements, no lists of near-by restaurants and bars, no list of television channels, NOTHING. 3. I won't stay at the Garden Inn again. I will probably go across the street to the Home2 in order to still take advantage of my Hilton Honors program.

It was nice staff was...
Liked: Your website said breakfast was included. But no it was an extra charge
Disliked: The biggest thing was the carpeting in elevators and hallway needed to be cleaned or replaced

Superb
Liked: The food was very good and that surprised us a little since it wasn’t a full-fledged restaurant.
Disliked: The carts by the front door were a joke. They were the kind you get at an airport instead of at a hotel. Made it difficult to get our dog’s crate and our stuff up to the room.
