Great place to stay

Liked: Everything was fantastic, the staff, the atmosphere, the comfort, the amenities, & food were outstanding.

Terrible, now we remember why...

Liked: The inside of the hotel was nice and modern….literally everything else sucked!
Disliked: When we got off the elevator on our floor, there was a slight smell. When we got to our room the smell was unbearable! It was a moldy/mildew smell. The thermostat/heat in the room was not working. We called the front desk to have them look at it, but they “forgot which room we were in” so no one came to check on it. Upon entering the room, there were hairs on the bathroom counter and when we pulled back the sheet on the bed, it looked like what appeared to be dog hair on the bed. We asked that the sheets be changed, and housekeeping just put the new sheets on the edge of the bed for us to change. The carpet in the room was also filthy.At this point we went down to the front desk and they gave us a new room. The heat worked in the new room, but it smelled bad (not as bad as the first room). The sheets appeared clean. But there were ants in the bathroom!!For a Hilton and $250 for 1 night, I expected much more!!The hotel did nothing to make the situation okay or to make us feel better about it. I will NEVER stay at a Hilton again and will probably tell people about our experience.
