A great place to spend time in Portsmouth; friendly; helpful; happy atmosphere; nice location; can't wait to return.

Disliked: Was not informed of the construction going on in the building. The restaurant/ bar on site is closed. The pool is closed and only 1 elevator working. The elevator wait was a long time. And the construction dust was everywhere in the lobby/halls

Liked: The room was fine that we had no chambermaid service during our stay.
Disliked: I already gave a very long review to another Hilton survey. Check with them. They’ll tell you all about my being misled about a major renovation occurring. Not informed! No breakfast supplied as promised. No restaurant p/bar available as promised. No pool and Jacuzzi available as advertised. Same price charged as if these amenities were available. Horrible!

Liked: The property was undergoing construction work that was never disclosed during the booking process, the elevator was dirty and dusty.On arrival there were two employees checking us in, the lady was courteous and attentive , the gentleman dismissive and right out unpleasant. Two nights stay no housekeeping at all. I will never return nor recommend “ Hilton Garden inn Portsmouth”
