No rooftop for hotel guests

Liked: Lovely art deco building. Nice room.Great downtown location
Disliked: The unfriendly gatekeeper at the rooftop: The place was half empty and we just wanted to have a quick drink and stay some 15', but no chance be let in, as apparently "booked out". An arrogant attitude that one would tolerate in NYC or LA, but not in the friendly Phoenix AZ. No free water in the room. Very limited choice of drinks in the lobby bar (e.g. no tomato juice, no Bloody Mary)
