Hilton Garden Inn Ottawa Airport, Ottawa

The Hilton Garden is the nice place to book your stay for one week or more. They have billingual workers (nothing can be hard to you if you can speak in English or French); Hilton is a good choice - crowded.

Liked: Spacious bedroom; the bedroom was located close to my favourite place, toward the airport.
Disliked: The hotel did not prepare the toothpaste in the bathroom, but the toothbrush was available, if we asked the housekeeping.

I enjoyed my stay.

Liked: I left too early for breakfast. But I gave enjoyed breakfast in previous visits.
Disliked: I would have appreciated a coffee bar while waiting for the airport shuttle.

Overall, fine but a bit...

Liked: We generally enjoy the location as it’s far enough out of the hustle and bustle but close enough we can drive everywhere in a timely manner. I had asked if they could hide pictures of Shrek around the room and they set up a whole scavenger hunt for us. That was a lot of fun.
Disliked: The room was a sauna despite the heat being set to 60. We could barely sleep it was so hot. The bed was quite uncomfortable this time. Their breakfast menu didn’t state some of the ingredients. So when we ordered French toast, it had raisins in it. When we mentioned it to the waitress, she said “yeah I really wish they’d change that on the menu”. Thankfully a senior staff member offered to take it off the bill or to make my daughter something else. Also, most of the food we ordered a la cart was the same exact food you could pick off the buffet. So I guess it just depends on how much of it you would eat to decide which price/option you wanted to pick. Also the hot tub got shut down on our last day there.

Liked: The bed was very comfortable, the pillow variety was perfect for me and everything was very clean. The room was large, the hotel was quiet and the evening staff was friendly and upbeat.
Disliked: The bathroom/shower could be updated but it was spotless and that's what matters most!
