Disliked: 1) The hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. I didn't smell it as much in the room - so I figured it would be OK. I woke up the first morning with a terrible sore throat. I figured I was getting sick. Then I was out all day, and the sore throat went away. I figured I'd nipped it in the bud. But, then, when I returned that night, the sore throat returned and was extremely uncomfortable all night and the next morning. It then went away again after I checked out. So I'm pretty sure that it was not a a cold or the flu after all - but rather the cigarette smoke that was entering my room at a low level. No one should have to deal with cigarette smoke at a Hilton (even if it were only in the hallway!). This is not right.2) I set the thermostat on the wall unit. Nothing happened. I called the front desk. They said the wall unit does nothing, and I have to use the window unit (don't you think you should tell someone that without making them press buttons on a wall unit that does nothing???). I then set the window unit to 65. I woke up in the middle of the night freezing - way colder than 65. So I switched the thermostat to heat and set it to 68. I then woke up again in the middle of the night burning hot - way hotter than 68. For some reason, the thermostat did not seem to be working, and the A/C or heat were just blowing past the target temperatures. I called in the morning, and they sent maintenance.It was so below-adequate that I requested a refund or at least to comp part of my stay. They only gave me some points.

Liked: Mia the front desk receptionist was so pleasant and sufficient. I felt so comfortable and happy to be able to stay at an establishment with such top notch staff. Thank you Mia. You are awesome

Disliked: My room was located directly across from the housekeeping office. Every morning starting around seven it was like having a Telenovela playing outside my door.
