We will stay again when we attend an event at Longwood Gardens, because of the hospitality of the employees. There were a few minor problems with the room but again, because of the thoughtfulness, helpfulness and great attitude of the employees we enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: The halls smelled like burnt wiring. Could have been cleaning solution or something that was supposed to resemble fall. Either way, it stank. Made me very uncomfortable, like the hotel had a smoldering fire somewhere. Didn’t sleep well.

Disliked: The place was closed due to maintenance. They did not call me or warn me of the closure. The receptionist send my wife and I to a sister hotel that was significantly worse (we paid the same price) and we had a room right by the major highway and could not get any rest. I would not recommend this place. They didn’t accommodate us at all and just sent us away to figure it out.

Good location and concept, but...
Liked: The bed was very comfortable and the room felt very well cleanedAll in all, it is an okay stay for maybe $100 per night, but definitely not almost $200!
Disliked: 1- Upon check-in the man seemed to have a hard time finding a room for us (we pre-booked online btw!) and he GAVE US THE KEY TO SOMEONE ELSES ROOM! My fiancé and I were glad to finally get our hands on a room key after driving all day, and we go to key into the room, and its occupied! Someone is staying in there! Their clothes out, LAPTOP OUT, shoes, car keys, wallet, etc. I understand this was a mistake of course, but it made us extremely uneasy. What if that happened to us and our room?? Someone could have taken all of our things and/or harmed us! It made us very weary of the security here. And when we went back to the man, he just shrugged it off as if this is not a serious security issue, and no apology2- The pool had a sign saying closed for maintenance, yet no one was in there working on anything.. so I went to the front desk, and again this same man had no idea that there was ever "maintenance" being done. He called the maintenance man and seemed the sign was just "accidentally" up. Again poor staff communication, and no apology 3- We booked for a "breakfast included" stay! Which now to our knowledge included a almost $17 charge PER PERSON for breakfast! When we get to breakfast there is only coffee, tea, apples, and yogurt. NOT a breakfast! Let alone something of such cost.
