Liked: Free coffee in the morning and the room was nice .
Disliked: The add shows a bigger pool and the koa pond was stagnant and over crowded with fish for it's size. The pond area had a smell and was next to the pool area.

Liked: great location, close to the ocean, beautiful territory . some of the staff were very friendly
Disliked: the AC was blowing straight to my face making it impossible to sleep. I had to turn it off and it was very hot in the room. Some of the reception staff were cold, disengaged, and rough. there was no balcony and no place to dry the wet clothes.the bar is in bad condition: very few seats and tables available, plastic cups, just one type of beer (Mexican, not local), bad quality cocktails and high price

Liked: The location was outstanding, the bed and pillows were very comfy, and I liked the layout.
Disliked: The bathroom was not clean. The facility charged a parking fee on top of what I had paid. The facility said they cleaned every 3 days but did not provide enough coffee, coffee service, or towels for that long.

Liked: location. We spent our vacation driving around the whole island to see sights and hike. This was a good central location. We had a fantastic time as there is a lot to see and do on Kauai. The room we had was basic, nothing special. Since the breakfast was not included, we purchased food at a grocery store and ate in our room.
Disliked: Being charged a $25/day resort fee and $25/day to park. In my opinion these fees should be included in the room cost rather than included as an extra fee so the posted room fee is lower, especially the resort fee since it is a mandatory charge whether the resort facilities are used or not each day. The Hilton hotels I have stayed at have not had these fees, plus breakfast is included, with the exception of the Hilton we stayed at on Oahu the week before. I did not realize that I would not earn Hilton Honors points by booking through a third party.
