Pro: friendly staff. Con: literally everything else. Had a long wait for room. Once in room, room was dusty and not vacuumed. Commode did not flush. Asked for maintenance twice. Did not fix. Had to use lobby bathroom. No soap in lobby bathroom. No coffee cups nor coffee supplies in room. The staff was nice and waved my valet fee. However I reached out multiple times to corporate because I feel like my entire stay should be refunded, however they have not returned my messages.

Liked: Friendly staff.
Disliked: The entire hotel.

Everyone was great. The receptionists, the restaurant workers, the valets, etc. - not a bad word to say about any of them. Only negative is the downtown area is rundown with a lot of empty buildings but that has nothing to do with the hotel and their service.

Rooms were very nice, staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall everything was very clean and well kept. Dinner was awesome. Shuttle was nice and clean. They had no problem taking us to Hal and Mal's and when we requested the time we wanted them to take us, they were prompt and not late. Downtown area around hotel was very nice and clean. Kudos! Keep up the good work - I will be back.

Liked: All hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We had dinner there and it was amazing. I would highly reccommend Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Jackson to any and everyone!

Shelby was our valet and he was great - delivered our bags to room and took us to and from concert at Thalia Mara Hall. Food in Grill was excellent. Room was very nice. Needed more guidance about breakfast - wasn't sure how to dine in or take to our room - we thought it was complimentary but hostess stopped us to give us a ticket. It was embarrassing because we didn't realize the procedure. All in all, great stay in your hotel. Hope to stay there again some day!

Disliked: Received 2 unrequested wake-up calls at 3:15 and 3:20AM.

I was not happy with...

Liked: My room was not clean. I had hair in the sink and tub…
Disliked: My room was not clean prior to my arrival.I had hair in the tube and sink. The website said free breakfast but it was a fee for that once I got the hotel. I was not aware of the parking . Had to pay a total of $70 for parking and tips. I had to come out of pocket for additional things such as parking fee, breakfast for me and my kids and the room was not clean prior to my arrival.

Liked: The staff was friendly and polite.
Disliked: The room was not well maintained. No one serviced the room (towels, trash) during my stay. I was there Thursday until Monday. The closet door was never fixed even after I was informed that maintenance would be to fix it.

Not up to a Hilton...

Liked: They had breakfast that came with the price of my room, however it was not hot, just barely warm. Even the coffee wasn't hot..I didn't like it.
Disliked: I didn't like that the valet stood out front smoking marijuana. cigerettes were on the ground at the front entrance. Making matters worst, no ironing board, but had a iron. mold in the shower, dirt around the refrigerator, and the location was horrible (though close to what I needed). I ran clear water through the coffee machine to clean it first and the water came out with bugs and a nasty color. I was totally displeased with my stay.
