Pro: friendly staff. Con: literally everything else. Had a long wait for room. Once in room, room was dusty and not vacuumed. Commode did not flush. Asked for maintenance twice. Did not fix. Had to use lobby bathroom. No soap in lobby bathroom. No coffee cups nor coffee supplies in room. The staff was nice and waved my valet fee. However I reached out multiple times to corporate because I feel like my entire stay should be refunded, however they have not returned my messages.

Everyone was great. The receptionists, the restaurant workers, the valets, etc. - not a bad word to say about any of them. Only negative is the downtown area is rundown with a lot of empty buildings but that has nothing to do with the hotel and their service.

Rooms were very nice, staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall everything was very clean and well kept. Dinner was awesome. Shuttle was nice and clean. They had no problem taking us to Hal and Mal's and when we requested the time we wanted them to take us, they were prompt and not late. Downtown area around hotel was very nice and clean. Kudos! Keep up the good work - I will be back.

Liked: All hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We had dinner there and it was amazing. I would highly reccommend Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Jackson to any and everyone!

Shelby was our valet and he was great - delivered our bags to room and took us to and from concert at Thalia Mara Hall. Food in Grill was excellent. Room was very nice. Needed more guidance about breakfast - wasn't sure how to dine in or take to our room - we thought it was complimentary but hostess stopped us to give us a ticket. It was embarrassing because we didn't realize the procedure. All in all, great stay in your hotel. Hope to stay there again some day!

Liked: I thought the hotel was nice and for the most part my stay was good.
Disliked: My stay was great until I checked out I didn't get the room rate I was over charged. The desk clerk said she couldn't fix it the office would have fix it.Once I got home I checked my charges to find out I was charged twice for the room different amounts. Desk clerk said she could not fix charge I would have to call back on Monday for Management to fix. Called Monday clerk on duty told me that was the correct charge $664.56. Should have been $603.56 minus $50.00 for incidentals. I was charged $603.56 and a additional $664.56 on my credit card and no one was willing reverse charge on my account. I can't believe the desk clerk cannot reverse the charges and have to rely on customer to call back after leaving hotel to resolve problem. I left my phone number with clerk for Management to call me to resolve this issue.
