Pro: friendly staff. Con: literally everything else. Had a long wait for room. Once in room, room was dusty and not vacuumed. Commode did not flush. Asked for maintenance twice. Did not fix. Had to use lobby bathroom. No soap in lobby bathroom. No coffee cups nor coffee supplies in room. The staff was nice and waved my valet fee. However I reached out multiple times to corporate because I feel like my entire stay should be refunded, however they have not returned my messages.
Liked: Friendly staff.
Disliked: The entire hotel.

Everyone was great. The receptionists, the restaurant workers, the valets, etc. - not a bad word to say about any of them. Only negative is the downtown area is rundown with a lot of empty buildings but that has nothing to do with the hotel and their service.

Rooms were very nice, staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall everything was very clean and well kept. Dinner was awesome. Shuttle was nice and clean. They had no problem taking us to Hal and Mal's and when we requested the time we wanted them to take us, they were prompt and not late. Downtown area around hotel was very nice and clean. Kudos! Keep up the good work - I will be back.
Liked: All hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We had dinner there and it was amazing. I would highly reccommend Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Jackson to any and everyone!

Shelby was our valet and he was great - delivered our bags to room and took us to and from concert at Thalia Mara Hall. Food in Grill was excellent. Room was very nice. Needed more guidance about breakfast - wasn't sure how to dine in or take to our room - we thought it was complimentary but hostess stopped us to give us a ticket. It was embarrassing because we didn't realize the procedure. All in all, great stay in your hotel. Hope to stay there again some day!
Liked: Shuttle service to and from concert.
Disliked: Received 2 unrequested wake-up calls at 3:15 and 3:20AM.

Disliked: They were not on top of keeping toiletries and linens well stocked (our room had one cup for coffee, no cream/sugar, shampoo was empty, gym had no towels)

Very good
Liked: The room was nice, very comfortable bed, clean. Front desk was very helpful and courteous. One can walk to the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum from there and the Amtrak is right across the street. Downtown was pretty deserted at night but getting to the more lively end of town was quick and inexpensive.

Disliked: Everything we ask the hotel can we have more towers, cause we only had one face towel in our room and they told us that they were out of towels and valet was getting our information with a cigarette in his mouth. That’s very unprofessional.

It was a nice hotel...
Liked: Even though breakfast was added some kind of way to our stay we didn’t eat breakfast not 1 day. We ate out and bought a few groceries.
Disliked: I was there on a government business trip for my job. That didn’t give me government pay ratings When we first made it there after a long travel. We checked in and once we made it to our room the room was dirty, the bed looked like it had been laid in, there were beer cans in our room and dirty towels left in the bathroom. I had to call down and let them know what was going on. Everything was by card because they didn’t take cash which I wasn’t told till I made it there.. I had to pay for valet parking and didn’t know. I had to overdraft my card in order to pay for everything because all I had was cash. They charged my card $548 but put on the receipt that I paid $491.55. Also I had to pay $50 Just in case the room was damaged that I didn’t know about.
