A Restful Stay for the...

Liked: My aunt and her granddaughter, who were here from Louisiana, needed a hotel close to the Debakey Veterans Hospital where her husband was admitted. This hotel was the ideal place at a reasonable price. The staff greeted them with warm hospitality with some complimentary water and free cookies in the lobby. The check-in was great, and they were able to get a good night rest in their clean room.
Disliked: Parking fee, otherwise everything was great.

Liked: Beds were VERY comfortable.
Disliked: Plumbing needed fixing as it was near overflowing. I was told maintenance would be there immediately. Half an hour later, front desk called to ask how everything went. No one had even come to check.! Hence, that made us late to the event we came to town for.

Liked: Its proximity to the park (Zoo) and cleanliness...
Disliked: The hotel charges for parking even though it’s not located downtown. Breakfast is not included. It’s also not within walking distance of downtown, and the pool is outdoor, not indoor.

Decent room with some flaws

Liked: The room, the location, the lighting, all near perfect. The fridge worked. The refrigerator too. Nice view too!
Disliked: There was a roach in the room on the first night, the soap bar holder was filthy underneath, if you only shower, you wouldn't notice. After asking for room cleaning daily, it was not done daily because the staff didn't put it in the system.
