Good place to relax and...

Liked: The location and the view. Everything we needed/wanted was walking distance we only took the car out twice.
Disliked: The snack area was pretty pricey

Disliked: There are no separate bedrooms, just open floor format. Having kids on a getaway/vacation, a bedroom really comes in handy.

Liked: The Hilton Garden Inn is located in/near the historic district of Savannah. It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the riverfront. The rooms were spacious, and the staff is friendly. There is a breakfast option, and complimentary coffee and tea is always offered in the lobby. The hotel also offers other amenities...pool, hot tub, mini gym. Close to other hotels in the area.
Disliked: Downside about the stay and location is, it seems quite deserted in the area at night. There is a good amount of homeless people in the area as well. Did not see a supermarket in the area , closest thing is CVS and Walgreens.

Liked: I was a little upset to find out that breakfast was not included in my hotel stay. We had to pay an additional $17.
Disliked: The room temperature was not controlled in the room. It was freezing! We turned the thermostat up to 80°, to no avail. The room never heated up.

Disliked: Messy reservation (charged for an extra room I did not book).
