Disliked: The surprise at breakfast that it wasn’t included and wanted to charge $15 per person for average normal breakfast food that’s usually included. My BF has been a member for many years of traveling for work and they said they wouldn’t use his member # when we checked in. I paid in advance because it was a surprise birthday weekend

Superb
Liked: Location was perfect - room very clean. I especially liked the stationary shampoo conditioner etc,
Disliked: The exterior doors could have been a little bit more user friendly. I didn't ask for accessible accommodations but I do have mobility issues and to try to hold on to the cart and open the door was not easy. Fortunately someone always seem to be someone nearby to help me.Also in the bathroom the grab bar was inside the shower, opposite wall from the door! Not very useful

Liked: Front desk, restaurant, and bar employees were all helpful, and pleasant. Room was clean, and bed was comfortable.
Disliked: One of my rooms was not ready until after 4pm, and I was hopeful to be able to check in at 3pm, as stated on the website

Liked: Last month, I stayed at the TruHilton on Loudoun Pkwy. Ugly. functional, but no style. The lobby is appealing at Hilton Garden.
Disliked: The ice machine was broken. The bedroom wasn’t cleaned, after I specifically spoke to the manager Evelyn, when I left the room for the day. I got back @ 10pm. No one ever. Kean d the room.I asked the night manager last night if the ice maker on the 3rd Flr had been repaired. She answered, “Hiw would I know. I just git here at four pm !” Excuse me? That’s how you talk to a customer. I asked that a bucket if ice be brought to my room. A half hour later, no ice. I called the desk. Same miserable person. I asked if the I’ve was coming. She said, “it’s coming. There are on,y two of us on and we can’t take care of everyone ! “. Excuse me again. How about, “ I apologize for the delay. He’s on the way with the ice,.”, instead of “What else do you want? She took umbrage that I dare ask if the ice machine was working as it hadn’t been the last night. AND THE ROOM AS NEVER STRAIGTENED UP.

Liked: The breakfast was exceptional. It was an ordered meal rather than a buffet.

Great stay!
Liked: The in-lobby bar and restaurant is a great feature. Saved me going out for dinner and had great conversation. Staff was excellent.
