Nice pool/Jacuzzi, nice room and...

Liked: The beds were comfy and the room we got was really large (room 401). Stayed with two kids and they liked the pool area and jacuzzi very much. We didn’t try the gym because lack of time, but it looked decent. Staff in the restaurant was very friendly.
Disliked: We normally stay at the Hampton when flying out from Detroit, but wanted to try the Hilton Garden Inn hoping you would get more (when paying some more). But for what you pay we were a little disappointed. It’s not a cozy hotel. All lights are so bright. The lights in our room too. The noice from outside was really loud in the room. At first we thought a window was open but that wasn’t the case. You just can hear everything! Planes taking off slow down late at night so you won’t hear that all night, but still had a rough sleep because of all the outside noise and people arrive in the middle of the night to the hotel etc.

Disliked: Heather, the staff attending to guests during breakfast was very rude, disrespectful and condescending to the guest. She needs to brush up on her customer service skills
