Liked: The room and hotel was clean.The beds were very comfortable.The breakfast was fresh and tasty.The hot tub was very nice.Half mile easy walk to the Pikes Peak Center.We chose this hotel as special treat for our autistic son and it was close to the Pikes Peak Center.We would have had a much nicer trip staying farther away and driving to the venue.
Disliked: Cost was higher than most other hotels in the area and this is what we got:1. Couldn't use the TV! The remote didn't work despite staff bringing new batteries, a different remote and then trying themselves (as if we didn't know how to use a remote).2. The "heated" pool was wayyyy to cold to even entertain using.3. Had to pay extra to eat breakfast and 99.9% of it was exactly what every other hotel includes with the room charge. The only difference was the option for cook to order eggs. The prepared scrambled eggs were usual hotel powdered eggs.4. Had to pay for parking. No valet, no security, no protection from the weather, no direct access to the hotel. Have to walk down a ramp back to the street to get inside the hotel.
