Nice hotel, convenient location

Liked: Beautiful hotel close to where we needed to go in Charlotte. Room was nice and the facilities were great. The breakfast situation was confusing, as it appeared to be a continental type of breakfast but it was not free. A fee also had to be paid for parking, but it wasn’t expensive…$10, I think. Overall, our stay was great.

Why pay for parking in...

Disliked: This hotel is located in a business park environment. There is no information indicating that the hotel charges for parking. I understand downtown locations. However, for this location it is simply price gouging and Booking.com should list this on its website. The hotel does not rebate the parking fee for guests - even HH members.

Liked: Great beds and clean sleek modern decor in the rooms and lobby/restaurant areas. Really good and reliable shuttle service to the airport.
Disliked: I'm not a fan of the sliding bathroom doors that do not shut tight.The shuttle service from the airport requires a phonecall and this should be mentioned in the booking information to prevent misunderstanding.

Disliked: The barn doors as bathroom doors. They had zero privacy. They also frequently got stuck , or came off their tracks. Two people in our party punched there fingers in them.
