I tried multiple times to...
Disliked: I could not get anyone at hotel or on booking to respond to my request for refund of the charge due to my need to cancel.

A very good hotel accessible...
Liked: Location near the interstate from the airport is good. The room was spacious and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast had plenty of choice and the staff who supervised it were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Parking at 50 dollars a night is rather expensive.

Very good
Liked: Breakfast was convenient, the snack shop near checkin is convenient, bed comfortable. Almost all of the staff were nice and friendly.
Disliked: The room rate was too high for what the room is like, even though it wasn’t a particularly busy time. I would prefer this location on my frequent future trips but probably won’t spend double the rate compared to a Fairfield, which actually has a better breakfast bar in some respects because of the Marriott standard (with real half-and-half cream, many little accoutrements — like being able to add a sprinkle of chopped apples, pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries — for a healthier morning oatmeal). Also, i noticed that one employee in the kitchen (not one of the black gentlemen) was ignoring requests from a black couple to bring them utensils; they had to ask twice and he seemed to be a bit rude to them. Even though I am white, it really bothered me to the point that i wondered if i should go to request it on their behalf.

Bad
Liked: Good location
Disliked: Made reservation through Booking.com, which was confirmed by Booking.com. Also received message from hotel through the Booking website confirming reservation. When I arrived, the receptionist claimed there was no reservation despite showing her the Booking.com confirmation. She was rude and unhelpful. Called Booking.com, who then called the hotel informing them of the confirmed reservation, to no avail. I had to make a new reservation at a more expensive rate than the original rate I received through Booking.com . Do not plan on staying at this hotel ever again.

June 27th Nightmare
Liked: The room was nice. Very clean. Spacious bathroom. The hotel itself was very hot but it's June in Georgia. I have yet to figure out how to circumvent that in my own house. I'd imagine it's even harder at a hotel.
Disliked: We booked our stay without the knowledge of the political events that were happening. It was absolute hell. I have struggled with what actually falls on the hotel and what is a result of the people surrounding the events happening outside. For context, things that aren't the hotel's fault or responsibility but do matter in the grand scheme: I and my 16-year-old daughter bought tickets for a concert months prior. This hotel was rated as one of the preferred hotels for its proximity to the venue. The trip was hours longer than anticipated because of the "event closures". I have Lupus and cardiac issues and the heat index was 105 degrees by 5:00 pm. The inability to reach the hotel was causing serious health issues for me. The neighboring connected hotel was the "homebase" for several presidential support groups. There was nondirect path to our hotel. Road closures by private citizens and then police made getting to the hotel impossible. After walking four blocks, we couldn't get into the hotel. Things that were the hotel's responsibility but NOT The fault of the employees: There was no access to the hotel. Period. We were blocked by political supporters saying we were not allowed to enter the building because we obviously did not belong to their party. The police said we were being problematic because I asked where the approved entrance was. We were routed through the connecting hotel's "loading area" after I started crying and attempting to explain to the event organizers that I needed to get to check in. There were no plans made by the hotel for this issue. We were made to stay in the loading area until all the party support guests were allowed to go into our hotel to use the elevators. After an hour of attempting to get in, I get to check in to find an incredible lady behind the counter who was so kind.
