Have stayed twice now and...

Liked: Breakfast is good and staff are very nice. It's located close to family we were visiting and has lots around it to eat out if we were staying longer.
Disliked: Parking is not as convenient for in/out as I would wish. Some things showing wear and tear and need to be replaced (top on toilet tank cracked, buttons on ottoman missing; only black out shades in windows (were there curtains at some point?). Mattress was starting to sag in middle. Hard to figure out climate control and TV--needed to call front desk to reboot satellite and were either freezing or hot. Shower is a bit narrow. Hand held shower head would be great.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff, concierge and shuttle driver. I showed up a day earlier than my reservation. The concierge helped get me a room at another hotel and the shuttle driver was very nice to drive me to my destination. I have to say when I stayed a few years ago, I showed up for breakfast and the waitress totally ignored me and the concierge was not friendly. I’m so glad you made improvements for the better.
Disliked: I can’t think of anything.

Liked: The location was excellent. The service was excellent. The concierge was excellent.
Disliked: The conditions of the entrance furnishings were dirty, stained, and nasty. The elevator was dirty and had a bad odor. The bartender couldn't fix requests because she said they hadn't furnished her with certain things.

Liked: Location was perfect. Very clean hotel and surroundings. Nice large rooms. Welcome addition of the fridge.
Disliked: Feather pillows & blankets. Poor lighting also. Needs a main overhead light instead of 4 lamps.

Liked: Walkable to anywhere, close to restaurants, grocery store and gift shops plus Peet’s coffee place from hotel and hotel is super nice.
Disliked: Charge for breakfast. Other Hiltons in California do not charge for continental breakfast.The blinds and shade in room were not working. Failed to pull them up.

Convenient

Liked: Walking distance to several restaurants. Free Shuttle to and from pentagon city to catch the metro.
Disliked: They charge a non refundable $22/ day for parking and refundable $50/ day for incidentals that wasn’t disclosed when making reservations. They only clean rooms every other day but we were there for 3 nights and no one ever cleaned our room, replenished toilet paper/ soap, emptied trash, or replaced towels.
