Excellent. Have never been to Des Moines before but felt safe.

Liked: Service; beds; pillows; closeness to venue.

Disliked: There was glass beer bottles left in our trashcan.. the only way we found them was our one year old started to pull them out.. front office didn't seem to care, no apology.

Liked: Location was great, room just ok, “clean clean”, very obvious everything was just surface cleaned. Staff ok, nothing stand out good or bad about them.
Disliked: Pay for literally everything, they had the annoying coffee pots in the rooms but not even a complementary pot of coffee downstairs in the mornings.

Loved the property and room....

Disliked: We had a drink and ordered apps. at the bar and we were attending event at the Wells Fargo Arena. It took like over an hour for an order of kids sliders and chips & salsa. We had to eat so fast once we got the food because we had to rush to get to our event. It was a little disappointing. That was the only thing that wasn't so great about our stay.

Liked: Keyless doors and elevator, check in and check out was smooth and easy all on my phone
Disliked: Parking, wish had a bigger parking lot

Good experience, but have suggestions...

Liked: Great location for easy access to the conference held at the Iowa Events Center. Easy to use room thermostat. Variety of pillow stuffings. Different pressure options for shower head. Lots of organizational areas for belongings - large closet, several drawers, cubby under night stand. nice accent chair and big desk space. Baby fridge was good - concealed in cabinet (helped decrease buzzing sound). Appreciated that under bed was not accessible/ bed frame-base was solid, so I didn't lose anything under the bed.
Disliked: Night stand is very deep, accidentally hit my head on corner when reaching for fallen pillow in the dark. Not many underground parking spots - was afraid to move my car out and lose my spot. Elevator was SLOW to pick up guests at busy times (at the beginning/ end of the conference day), not able to easily find stairway to walk the 2 flights to room when busy. No microwave in room. Water temperature in sink was inconsistent (randomly, especially when shower was off). No extra blanket available in room.
