Pleasant

Liked: The location was easy to access and come and go as we pleased.
Disliked: The temperature control for the room was difficult so we slept poorly. We were also told about $35 credits to the hotel restaurant for each day only once we arrived so we already had plans to go elsewhere and it was not clear if those credits were included in the price of our stay.

Overpriced and poor quality

Liked: Hotel is close to the subway. Breakfast selection was fine.
Disliked: Incredibly overpriced hotel and very poor quality. Rooms were tired and scruffy. Furniture was very stained and dirty. The "executive lounge" was just part of the breakfast dining room, and not available until after breakfast finished. There was nothing executive about it, not even a place to plug in a laptop and work. The hotel offers to provide the city fee as equivalent credit for food and beverages in the hotel, but doesn't mention that you cannot use this credit on the day of checkout.

Superb

Good enough overall, but not...

Liked: Lots of space. Newer large flat screen TV. Comfortable beds. Lots of towels. Attentive desk staff. Good food and service in the restaurant (to the extent we used it).
Disliked: The restaurant closed between 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. so lunch always had to be somewhere else. The robe hook on the bathroom door fell off. The rod holding the shower wand fell off. One of the towel racks was pulling out of the wall. (A call to the front desk took care of all of this in one maintenance visit). The daily maid service "failed" on the 3rd day; only 1 bed was made, several dirty glasses were unchanged, the coffeee service was not cleaned nor replenished, the carpet was not vacuumed. The follow-up from a visit to the front desk was unsatisfactory. No extra chair or sofa, even tho there was lots of room for them. The only seating was the desk swivel chair.
