We would 100% stay again,...

Liked: Very peaceful and quiet area. Great for winding down.Spa treatments were lovely and relaxing. Swimming pool was warm and clean. Great nights sleep, beds comfortable. Breakfast, buffet style was very, very good. Lots of choice and chef was willing to make additional items if wanted. Great atmosphere. Went to the bar for a drink and watched the premier league football on the big screen. Everyone had a great time but was still very civilised. Shower was powerful, bathroom in our room was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Staff advised where to visit locally for a day out.
Disliked: Room service- not varied enough and very expensive for only “small plates”. Not many pillows (personal preference). Would have liked more pillows to lay my head on to sleep. When we arrived there was a “fusty” smell to the room until we opened the balcony door and windows (we did this everyday).

Fantastic stay and can’t wait...

Liked: Staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean and the room was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay. The only issue was that the service took a long time in the restaurant, however we had an excellent time.

Good option for visiting Alton...

Liked: The England football memorabilia and facilities gave guests a little window into the football community and history of England FC. Spa facilities are nice.
Disliked: Not very luxurious bedrooms, restaurant quality food was just ok.

Average

Disliked: Couldn’t cope with full house. Couldn’t get table for dinner, then bar food burnt after long wait. Poorly resourced.
