Had the most relaxing two days at the Hilton enjoyed the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym. The food was excellent; the hotel staff very efficient. Lovely, wonderful, guest room with two queen size beds.

Liked: Close to P&J live venue for show that we were there to see, handy underground parking, clean and new hotel, friendly staff
Disliked: No complimentary water in the room which would expect from a Hilton there aren’t any amenities close by.

Would not stay again

Liked: Hotel looked impressive on arrival, rooms were extremely comfortable and hotel was very clean. It was also conveniently situated for work.
Disliked: Customer service in the hotel was appalling. We would have expected a Hilton hotel as large as this next to a conference centre to have a bar that opened later than 10.30pm. Finishing work at 10.30pm and coming back to a hotel bar in darkness was a shock. Working at an event with colleagues from all over the country then not being able to socialise in comfort with them at the end of the day was totally unacceptable. Instead of the bar we were shown through to a cold, bland meeting space with no style or personality where the bar there shut at midnight. the few staff we did encounter ranged from disinterested to downright hostile (the night manageress who demanded we vacate the only area we had been allowed in to at 1am).

Liked: Very well presented, clean, easy to get around. Special mention to Jennifer on the desk who was very polite and helpful. The night team were very helpful charging my phone for me when my cable stopped working.Restaurant was very good and service was excellent.
Disliked: When we checked-in and went for a drink the young lad (with hearing aids) was trying to man the bar, serve drinks, and show people to their seats in the restaurant which I thought was poor. However, he done an amazing job and 5 mins later there were more colleagues helping him. The room was too warm and no way of turning the heating down as it was set to 24 degrees.

Perfect for a special treat...

Liked: The suite was huge. It had a comfortable bed and massive bathroom. The lounge had a great view and comfortable furniture. The reception was welcoming and the staff were attentive. The spa was beautiful, peaceful and clean. We could have stayed longer if our trip had allowed.
Disliked: We paid a fair price for the suite - there was a lovely coffee machine provided but nothing in the mini bar not even a piece of shortbread.... We also had to pay extra for our car parking - this felt a little bit stingy. I would have paid a little bit more for my room to have these extras included but an additional £15 for parking on top felt unnecessary.
