Hilltop Inn & Suites - North Stonington, North Stonington

This hotel is decent and close to the casino, staff was extremely friendly and great at making you feel "right at home". Breakfast was decent not sure I would coin it "deluxe continental breakfast" as advertised, but overall it was good! I think for this "basic" room the price should be a bit lower, though I would stay again. I didn't take advantage of the shuttle to the casino - last trip back was 10pm....I stay much later than that LOL. But it is only 4 miles away so driving isnt much of an issue! Thanks for the hospitality!

My husband and I were very happy with all aspects of the Hilltop Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with towels, etc. The shuttle service was a pleasure...on time and it brought us right to the door of the casino. We will definitely stay there on our future visits to Foxwoods. Thanks!

Disliked: I was there again on 1-25-25 and the gentleman checking people in is RUDE! I don’t know why I keep giving reviews when nothing is getting done or handled. He talks so fast when he is checking you in and can’t understand anything coming out his mouth. Maybe he should get a job he likes and he never smiles. This is now my second bad experience after this I will just have to pay the additional cost to stay at the Bellisimo instead.

Disliked: This is my third time staying at this hotel and every time it has a problem with the toilet.. it’s like they have a plumbing issue and will not fix it. It’s very unsanitary and it’s very uncomfortable and it was just a bad stay there because this is like I said the third time.

Affordable and clean hotel and...

Liked: The property is very clean and the front desk staff were so nice. It is so close to Foxwoods so was perfect for us.
Disliked: We wish there was more than one shuttle to the casino. Getting there was great and the driver was awesome. We did not anticipate not being able to get back on to return to the hotel and ended up having to pay for an Uber..

Liked: Very convenient and close to Foxwoods. It’s clean and comfortable sleeping. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: Breakfast was not good. Only had stale bagels and other types of bread for toast, no butter , a Belgian waffle maker and packages of instant oatmeal. I would not call this breakfast. If I was a breakfast person I would be very disappointed. If you don’t serve breakfast don’t advertise breakfast. I have been going here for years and early on they used to have boiled eggs, fresh fruit, donuts, pastries, waffles , variety of cereal and good coffee. I would be highly disappointed if I was expecting breakfast! Also the grounds were not cleaned up enough from the snow and ice. Parking lot and entrance into my room with lots of ice. I was very fearful of falling.
