Liked: We have had an amazing stay at Highwood Park B&B.Location: Beautifully located in the Glasshouse Mountains, (only a 10 min drive from Maleny). Just far enough away so you are surrounded by tranquility and peace (with only the sounds of nature around you), but close enough to drive to local attractions, restaurants and shops. The views are just stunning.Rooms: So much attention to detail in all the rooms, with amazing views from each room!Breakfast: David serves a gourmet breakfast every morning, from fresh fruit, croissants and toast to bacon and eggs, with juice, tea and coffee also on offer. Presentation of the food was amazing.Service: David was an amazing host, very knowledgeable of the area and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had a great stay!Thank you David.

Liked: The location was amazing and the views of the countryside were to die for. Short drive in all directions to see so many wonderful things/places. (Close to Maleny and the Bird Park). The friendliness of the hosts was the stand out for me, oh and not to mention the delicious breakfast. As a solo traveller, I was made to feel welcome and so appreciated this. I would not hesitate to book again if ever in the area.
Disliked: Nothing I didn't like.

Liked: A very peaceful place. The breakfast was amazing, and the home has a warm and welcoming feel. The room is just right, with an eclectic design that reflects a love for antiques. We enjoyed watching the sunset and taking in the beautiful views of the landscape and mountains, as well as a movie in the evening. David and Dean were incredibly kind, and Bentley, the little dog, greeted us with joy. They are both very outgoing and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.

A wonderful weekend getaway -...

Liked: Our stay was truly excellent - we will be back. David was a very welcoming and accommodating manager. Our arrival was greatly aided by a quick tour of the hotel and run down of the area. The hotel aesthetic is quite unique (beautifully furnished with lots of trinkets) and conveys a great sense of attention to detail from the owners. The room far exceeded my expectations in size and comfort, particularly for a little getaway weekend for a couple. I couldn’t fault the room (which is essentially a suite) in terms of facilities or cleanliness. The great array of DVDs on offer was a nice touch. The fridge / micro / crockery availability was a welcome surprise and made our early start (for a running event) very simple. The flowers, garden, pool and scenery really added to the atmosphere. I was originally partially drawn to the hotel due to the great online reviews of breakfast and I have to say it didn’t disappoint at all. David kindly accommodated our request for a later breakfast after our race, which meant the three rooms congregated later for a lovely sit down breakfast. Food, service and attention to detail were second to none. I was particularly grateful that dietary requirements were taken in to account without any issue - the breaky was still just as plentiful and high quality.
Disliked: Other guests may need to be aware that the location is on a hillside so might need consideration for those with mobility challenges - not an issue for us and our stay however. That said, the immediate vicinity of the room and restaurant is flat and easy to navigate.
