Our stay at Highside Farm...

Liked: Location: The location was fantastic. 10 minute drive to Keswick and for hikers, Skiddaw is accessible essentially from the front door.Room: The room itself really felt historic thanks to the exposed stonework and beams, but it was extremely comfortable and cosy. It had everything we needed to feel at home, including a fridge, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and TV with Netflix included. It was also a really nice touch leaving some fresh milk in the fridge for us, as well as a huge selection of coffees and teas.Cleanliness: Both bedroom and bathroom were very clean.

Liked: Room very homely, lighting choices within the room gave you choice for a bright room or a cosy feel,
Disliked: Room was quite cold on arrival however heated up quite quickly with 2 radiators in the property. And it was also -4 outside so could expect the cold wasnt a big issue.

Liked: Everything about the place is 10/10, the accommodation, the staff on the farm are really nice people who go out of their way to make sure you’re time there is as enjoyable as possible. Can’t wait to stay again

Great value stay

Liked: Cosy room, great value for money, good amenities (everything you need for a weekend away) and lovely owners. Also really appreciated the little food bits and daily milk top up! :) we can’t wait to return
