Perfect for us and the...

Liked: Wonderful location! My husband and I, We are walkers, so the location was perfect for us to hit some trails! We walked the Cinder Trail all the way to Robins Hoods Bay and loved the scenery and walk was beautiful.As for location to the town it was also just perfect. We only had to exit the far of the Manor and were in town central. We love to browse the charity shops and there were many to visit! Restaurants galore and recommend you book in advance before you travel especially you want to eat at Crocodile or the Vault (both right next to this fabulous Manor).

Liked: When we arrived at the beautiful Highgate House we were greeted by Johnathan, who was extremely welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We were given a glass of complimentary fizz in our room, which was a lovely touch. The property is a beautiful Georgian property in the heart of Whitby, the location was absolutely perfect. Before our stay, the hosts gave us little tips on places to visit and eat, which being new to Whitby we found extremely useful. The breakfast was outstanding- we had the choice of having the continental breakfast in our rooms or in the garden. We were given a variety of different choices; including a bacon sandwich which we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be returning, both Johnathon and Louise couldn’t do enough for us, they were so friendly and welcoming that it felt like home from home! We had the best time!!
