A fantastic place for a...

Liked: The owners of the property are absolutely fantastic and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and well laid out with good quality furniture. The en-suite was very well appointed. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning and had a lovely selection of hot and cold food. There was a ready supply of tea and coffee for us to make too. The location is excellent, just on the edge of the town centre so far enough out to be quiet but close enough to easily get around on foot.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: I loved everything about Highgate House. The owners were positively delightful. The breakfast was delicious, the room was beautiful and so clean. The location was perfect. Even their local advice was spot on.We will definitely be back to try the other rooms.
Disliked: Everything was perfect.

Exceptional

Liked: We love everything about Highgate house. It's high end so costs a little more than some but it's well worth the extra cost. We are returning in April and very much looking forward to our weekend!

Liked: The house was absolutely immaculate, beautifully decorated. The Christmas tree added to the wonderful atmosphere. The hosts were lovely.Our room was exceptional- gorgeous decoration to a very high standard.Breakfast delivered to our room was fabulous, fresh coffee, pastries,bacon sandwich,yoghurt & fruit . I really cannot fault the property or the hosts they went above & beyond.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing, it was wonderful

Lovely romantic stay for couples.

Liked: Stayed in the Autumn room- Unique decor, very clean, very comfy bed, special touches like dressing gowns, makeup wipes & dressing table. Lovely mugs/glasses and a glass of fizz on arrival. Breakfast tray brought to your room in a morning made you feel like royalty! Would 1000% stay again. Great location if you want to walk around Whitby/pub crawl. The hosts couldn’t do enough for you, luggage carried into the room.

Liked: Breakfast was outstanding as was the hospitality of Louise and Jonathan. Very comfy bed and well appointed bathroom with excellent shower.
