Liked: So much attention to detail - little luxuries that were way beyond what you would expect. Stylish, quirky decor. Truly amazing hosts - John was lovely but did not meet his partner who adds all the special touches. Breakfast was fab - freshly squeezed orange juice and filter coffee. Cannot fault this little gem of a place

Liked: Great location plus parking ticket was a bonus. John and Lisa were fantastic hosts and made us feel very welcome from the start. The breakfast was delicious, the room comfortable and the B&B was stylishly decorated with lots of attention to detail. Would highly recommend and we plan to visit again soon.

Liked: This B&B far surpassed our expectations! Highly recommend, we will be coming back.Hospitality- The owners were incredibly welcoming and took the time to learn all our names despite us only staying for two nights. They went the extra mile to make our stay brilliant.Bedrooms - We stayed in room 1 (aka the Bond room) which was clean and very comfortable. There was the usual kettle, tea and coffee in the room along with quirky wine glasses and some delicious local biscuits. There were even some Halloween sweets left out for us.The best thing about this B&B was its decor! Photos don't do it justice. The owners have done a wonderful job with the place. Cleanliness - The rooms and ensuite were immaculate. The building itself always smelled wonderful as there was usually a scented candle in the hall.Breakfast - The breakfast was delicious. We opted for the cooked 'Yorkshire breakfast' which was fab, exactly what we needed for a day of exploring Whitby on foot. The owners left out a menu for us to fill out each day for the following morning. You could choose between a range of hot options as well as continental breakfast. There was also freshly squeezed orange juice, apple juice and tea/coffee.
