Liked: This was the perfect getaway spot for my little family. We wanted something out of the busy-ness of a big city but close enough to visit some of the ski areas. The owners were delightful and so wonderful to talk with every morning. Breakfast was amazing and a great way to start our day! The owners took your breakfast order for the next morning after your morning meal and it was fresh, made to order and delicious. They had different entree options each day. The location was tucked away but close enough to Winter Park and stores and restaurants, about a 12 minute car ride. We will definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Liked: My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Hideaway Mountain Lodge in Fraser. The Lodge and guest rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The homemade breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and the host family was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I was particularly impressed with their flexibility—due to uncertain weather, I arrived a day later than planned and stayed an extra day, and they graciously adjusted my three-day reservation without charging me extra. Their kindness and hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this gem in the mountains!

Cozy, perfect place to bring...

Liked: The property was a great place for kids. They had a pool, hottub, plenty of kids games. And our room was really comfortable. We had a quadruple. And there was a fireplace, REALLY comfortable mattresses. The bathroom had super fluffy towels (not like those thin ones). And the folks who hosted us were really lovely and helpful. They had a breakfast in the morning which was great for us as we took our kids to ski lessons in the morning! All in all really impressed.
Disliked: I think the only thing I hadn't thought through is if you have a fireplace in your room, the room will smell like a wood fire. :) But that's not really a negative for most folks!

Great stay in the Winter...

Liked: I thought the location was perfect. Far enough from the hustle and bustle to enjoy the quietness of the Rocky Mountains but not too far away from the areas attractions. Mike and Carla are excellent hosts. Great breakfast every morning. The room was cozy and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool and pool area which included a pool table and sitting area with puzzles and an excellent selection of movies. Spent one evening in the lobby area in front of a crackling fire and enjoyed hot chocolate and freshly made cookies.

Liked: Beautiful location! The owner/managers were very friendly and helpful during our brief stay. We would love to return someday!! We would highly recommend this beautiful Hideaway Lodge!

Warm, cozy and good service

Liked: It was a cozy and warm environment. Mike and Carla were very attentive. The room was clean. The breakfast service was nice. We were satisfied and might choose it again.

Exceptional stay in the moutains

Liked: Mike and Carla were amazing, taking care of everything, including shuttling us to and from Fraser. The service was amazing, the breakfast was home cooked yummy and the room was very cozy. The view of the mountains was spectacular.
