Disappointing

Good

Clean and good facilities, below...

Liked: Was clean and they had good facilities
Disliked: I booked my check in time between 7 and 8pm. No one was at front desk however to let me in the building as they were on standby past 7pm. Wasn’t made aware of this and had to wait 30 minutes outside the hostel waiting for someone to let me in. They ask that you phone when you arrive past 7pm, wasn’t made aware of this at booking. Checking in wasn’t ideal at all.

Good value for the price...

Liked: Staff super friendly and attentive, carrying my heavy bags up the stairs! Room was clean, bathrooms were really clean and had soaps we could use. Really good value for the price!
Disliked: The bed wasn't very comfortable as I could feel the frame through the mattress, it was a bit cold as I couldn't control the temperature. Also, the location is away from the main road so had to either get a taxi to the restaurants or walk in the dark 25 minutes through a dimly lit road (I chose taxi). It is a lovely area just not so practical in the dark.

Great stay! Felt safe and...

Liked: The hostel was really comfortable and I liked how in the large dorms, two bunk beds were grouped together in little sections with a curtain which made it feel more private compared to having all the beds in one large open room. The bathrooms and common areas were also great.
Disliked: Putting some sort of handrail on the beds would have been useful to get into the top bunk (there wasn’t much to grab onto to lift myself up). But other than that the beds were great!

Liked: Very clean. They provided towels for showers.
Disliked: The bed could be a little more comfortable.
