Liked: Nice kitchen. Nice staff.
Disliked: My room was a dormitory with no curtains. It was really easy to bother others with lights or sounds. I don’t like it.

I recommend HI New York...

Liked: Great location, close to Subway line and grocery stores.Certainly I would be there again and recommend to my friends and family.

Great stay with a welcoming...

Liked: Great hostel overall.Located in a safe area, perfect for solo travelers.Within walking distance to the subway, making it easy to get around.The free activities day and night, as well as the welcome get-together, make the stay more enjoyable and offer a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other travelers.
Disliked: Adding a rail on the bunks for hanging towels would be a great touch.The dorm door could use something to prevent it from slamming when people come and go, especially at night.

Awesome value for money in...

Liked: Up to expectations, with minor inconveniences here and there proper from a building the age of this, that didn’t prevent enjoying the stay.The tours they organize are really awesome, hyper recommend Jerry’s immigration tour.
Disliked: A little more ventilation is needed in the property. Beds would be made everyday but apparently it’s only at check in.
