Lack of air con on...

Liked: Great location but very uncomfortable night as the air conditioning was not working; believe it had not been turned on. We left windows open and were disturbed by the noise outside the hotel. Staff were quite understanding. One person shone like a beacon, Rakel on reception was excellent in the way she managed a difficult situation

Liked: Great hotel in a perfect location near to river. Staff were friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. The rooms are a good size, clean, comfy and had all amenities. The communal areas are also very nice and spacious.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The bed was big and comfortable—that's the only highlight.
Disliked: The room was outdated and far from what we expected based on the photos on Booking. It seems like those photos were taken 10–12 years ago. The interior was old and in poor condition.Amenities were lacking: only shower gel, shampoo and small water were provided - no slippers, no bathrobes, and none of the basic items a 4-star hotel should offer.The duvet didn’t have a proper cover - just two sheets (one under and one over the duvet), which was uncomfortable and honestly quite frustrating.Only one key card was provided for the room.And like in many hotels across Spain, there was a weird glass door for the bathroom with no sound isolation at all.I highly do not recommend this place. Bilbao has plenty of much better options at the same or even lower prices.
