Our one week stay was...

Liked: Location, size of room, in room facilities.
Disliked: Did not provide the room requested. Asked for high floor, quiet room. Hotel approved request but on arrival was given low floor, next to road, above car park exit - noisiest room in the hotel. Woken every morning 7am by laundry truck ( and other vehicles) reversing beepers. Last straw was a motorcycle gathering bikes exiting car park at 5am - like trying to sleep in a garage. We were there a week - not one good nights sleep. Hotel apologised and provided complimentary dinner and wine - we would rather have had a good nights sleep. Unacceptable really. We have stayed at this hotel before and on each occasion the stay was excellent. Hotel no longer managed by Heritage, may explain the drop in standards. Will find a new place to stay next time we visit Queenstown.Rooms beginning to look a little tired!

It was OK.

Liked: Beds need replacing. Whole place a little tiered. Meals in the Restaurant not too flash.

Exceptional

Liked: Very nice hotel, with nice bedrooms, wonderful views and fantastic location. Swimming pool area is very nice. Parking facilities are great.
