Disliked: The hotel is a bit tired and outdated. I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s ‘walking distance’ to the Main Street, the steep hill itself makes it quite difficult but it’s also a good 20+ min walk - not super convenient Could you walk? Yes. Is it close? No

Liked: Dated property.
Disliked: The fact that when booking I asked to be told if a lake view room became available. I received a lovely message telling me that you would like your offer us an upgrade for no extra charge as it was our 30th wedding anniversary. When we arrived there was no record of this and the lady at the counter dismissed us completely. I was so disappointed as I had told my friends how lovely this was. I would have kept trying to book a lake view room if I hadn't been given the offer . Really disappointing service

Relaxing stay in great local...

Liked: fantastic room and location. early breakfast opening was great ahead of an early tour pickup time. At the other end of day it was really helpful that the bar food remained open until 22.00.
Disliked: Maybe restaurant area is in need of a refurbishment. That said food and service excellent.

Liked: The kids loved the pool and spa. Neat and tidy.
Disliked: It is a little outdated, but that doesn’t effect the stay at all
