Well, the weed smell all over the air, but we didn't know that it's legal in California.

Liked: The hotel is in a funky part of town, but pretty close to everything too. I was suspicious as some guests were hanging around and seemed a bit too eager to chat, but no one bothered me.
Disliked: Guy at the front desk is as friendly as a urinal disc. Cold, aloof. Asked him a question in the morning as he was leaving. Didn't need him to do anything for me; just asked if he knew where I should ask. "I'm off the clock," he said, then walked away and got into his car, which was parked illegally in a handicapped spot. A real prince. On the other hand, as I left my room, I left a sweatshirt on the bed, and a lovely woman on the housekeeping staff ran after me to give it to me.
