Disappointing. Loved Christchurch but wouldn't...

Liked: Restaurant food and service was excellent.
Disliked: Couldn't get a decent sleep. Too much street noise, drunks, cars, trams. No air-conditioning which meant that, to keep out the noise, we had to close the windows and the room became stuffy.

Disliked: It would be great to have aircon in the upstairs bedroom, but there is a fan plus a portable fan which did the trick.

Liked: The hotel building was very impressive, our room was comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed and the spa and swimming pool facilities were an added bonus. The city centre location was perfect.
Disliked: Although the room on a whole was clean there were a few minor bits that were missed, such as hair left in the bathtub.
