Amazing city break location

Liked: It was tastefully decorated. The staff were great. Location is good too
Disliked: The toilet wasn’t cleaned well. But that’s the only complaint

Great location, would stay again

Liked: Very large room, plenty of hanging space and 2 armchairs which is great for a couple rather than the standard 1.Very convenient location for the town but far enough out to be quiet at night.It was good to have a freshly cooked breakfast rather than buffet style.
Disliked: The heating didn't appear to be on in the room and the quilt could do with being a larger size as the bed was a good size but the quilt seemed a bit small.

Liked: The location of the hotel was good, withing walking distance of the shops.
Disliked: The room was satisfactory but we had issue with the bathroom, having a constant smell of sewage. The plumbing sounded like the water was bubbling back up through the pipes. We kept the plug in the sink, which helped.After our first night we left the room, expecting on our return later that day for the bed would be made with cushions repositioned on the bed. In fact the sheet/duvet was literally pulled over the bed. The bathroom had been untouched, as the plug/water remained in the sink . This isn't what I would expect from a hotel. We did not inform the management team. as we were only there for a few night and used the room as a base.

Disliked: there was a low level humming coming from outside the room (ventilation?) but nothing major. overall really great hotel ,

Liked: The location was really convenient for town but nice and quiet neighbourhood.
Disliked: The lift was ridiculously slow

Disliked: Very noisy room , pipes or something making noises , cold room , thermostat not set ready for a guest staying in December we were unable to get it to turn on , small portable radiator in corner of room was on but not big enough to warm room . Also no extra blankets in cupboard when I got up in middle of night to look, slept with coat on top of bed . Next morning we mentioned this to reception were told we should of phoned them , I think these are basic things that should of been ready for customer staying in a room in a cold December, not to have to phone down late at night for help !!
