Liked: Waitress at castle breakfast was very attentive
Disliked: Trash overflow in the room, unchanged drinking water, and hair all over the sink when we got there. Food in the morning was awful and overpriced. And I eat almost anything.

Lots of potential but details...

Liked: The grounds were beautiful and interesting. The rooms were unique and beautifully appointed. The breakfast was good but fresh baked goods would have improved the experience.
Disliked: There was minimal staff available and they were not very knowledgeable about the Castle's storied and haunted history. They also had my reservation wrong at the start but we were able to rectify it. Food service was not good - we had to cancel our order when it had not arrived after 45 minute because we had other plans.

Interesting Accommodations - Cottage A

Liked: Staying at a historical site was interesting. Enjoyed the guided tour through the castle and learning about the Henderson family and the renovations done by previous and current property owners.
Disliked: The water was shut off twice during our stay with no warning. No coat hangers in closet or hooks / towel racks in bathroom. Purchased over the door hooks at dollar store. Left them there for future guests - hope staff does not remove them.
