Liked: Beds were very comfy and the overall atmosphere was very good.

Do not book this experience...

Liked: 1. The only staff available was the pastry chef who went above and beyond to try to make our stay a bit comfortable 2. The heated floors was a welcoming surprise 3. It is a beautiful castle.
Disliked: 1. Even though i booked in advance they treated me like i was a "walk in".2. The castle should stayed close since there was no staff or amenities available on xmas.3. I received numerous welcoming emails to book spa treatments and dinner until 8pm. But when we arrived at 7pm the kitchen was already close.

Disliked: Our sink didn’t drain and it would have been cool to use the original shower with 13 heads even if it would have required all the water pressure available in the facility

Disliked: The bedroom and bathroom were a little cold until I got under the sheets. Then I was cozy! We had to leave before breakfast was served since we were traveling.

Sad experience

Liked: The hotel was very pretty and interesting
Disliked: Staff was unhelpful, our room (The Boudoir) was a converted bathroom with extension cords hanging everywhere, bed was horrible(actually more like a converted couch), no toilet paper in room, not clean…we ended up not actual staying and asked for our money back. We were very disappointed considering the price.

Exceptional

Liked: I liked exploring the building and seeing all the antique furniture and decor. Our bed was super comfortable, just like home. We had dinner there also, and the food was delicious!
