Lovely stay and staff!

Liked: Very friendly staff and the rooms are comfortable. The wooden floor in the room is stunning!
Disliked: I don’t really like the decor, such as the curtains, fabric wall paper… but that is not an issue as the room is comfortable.

We loved it and wouldn't...

Liked: The people were awesome as they went above and beyond. The room service was always timely and tasty, the location for sure cannot be better than this place!
Disliked: Check out. They forgot to call for my car and I was extremely rushed getting to airport (lost 40 minutes extra (beyond the 20 expected)

Pleasant stay once room change...

Liked: Great location. Beautiful interiors. Impeccable bed linens. Generous breakfast. Nice spa and gym.
Disliked: Helvetia building next to night club - thumps till 5am. Do NOT book Strozzi square facing junior suite with view rooms in Helvetia! In particular - do not book that featured red and purple branded junior suite room which is potentially full on noisy. Might be ok for one night or nights the club is not in action but risky to know. Bring earplugs just in case. Book Bristol quiet side if have a choice. Windows are more modern and sound proof. Had to move rooms owing to this thumping night club problem which the hotel can’t control. Hotel were very helpful this way to be fair - but if was high season and hotel fully booked - the move would not have happened. The welcome bottle of Prosecco for junior suite stay cost less than 10euro - very poor quality and stingy - not sure the message being sent by gesture if is not proper quality. Robes were tad tired maybe owing to Oct stay so after high season and slippers not as 5 star nor the soaps - which ideally should be by a top Italian brand like Bulgari etc. Tea however was excellent. No biscuits. One very tiny welcome fruit cup offered. Flowers were top!
