A very pleasing new find...

Liked: I needed an inexpensive room for the night and Booking.com recommended the Heeton. A room for under £80 in London is a good deal I thought. I got there earlier than expected because it is a quick ride on the tube from Paddington. They were very friendly and were able to check me in early, which was very convenient. The room was surprisingly large with a big desk, a sofa and large comfortable double bed. It was much more than I had expected!
Disliked: The event I was in town to attend was a good 30 minutes away by tube. But that of course is not the hotel's fault! Arriving at Paddington, getting to Bond Street is one stop on the Elizabeth line but going via a hotel in Hammersmith does make it a little more complicated. But again - not the hotel's fault!

Great location, room for improvement...

Liked: Reception staff, always pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: There was an issue with the temperature control in our room. Reported it and we were told ‘oh it is probably due for its maintenance…if it gets too hot again just open the window’!!The noise is also an issue they need to address somehow.Also, having the only sink in the room and not in the toilet makes it rather unhygienic as you have to open a door and come out of the loo before you can wash your hands.

Comfortable overnight stop in a...

Liked: The room is very pleasant and the bed is extremely comfortable. The staff were ultra-friendly and helpful. We needed them to look after our luggage and that was made very easy and overall, we'd be very happy to stay again.
Disliked: The minor issues are not something that can be easily fixed - the one wash basin was essentially designed as a kitchen sink in an aparthotel - so not great for washing in. Similarly that basin had to be used for hand washing after using the lavatory. It genuinely is minor in our opinion and would not stop us staying there again.
