Our stay at the Heathman Lodge was wonderful. Hotel staff clearly pay close attention to details. Nothing is overlooked. The rooms are lovely and very quiet; the grounds are well kept and beautiful; the hotel makes recycling a priority - which is important to our family. The front desk offers a complimentary latte, cappuccino or hot chocolate in the morning. The restaurant on the premises, Hudson's is flat out excellent. Usually hotel food is mediocre at best but Hudson's should be one of the reasons you'd stay at the Heathman. In fact, we noticed many locals enjoying Hudson's. We came to Vancouver for a concert and staying at the Heathman was the icing on the cake. Can't wait to go back!

We should have stayed two...

Liked: on site restaurant was great. Grandson requested cheeseburger, no cheese. However, it came to him with cheese (he is 5). When reminded, they immediately got him the correct order and even added some extra bacon (which was wonderful!!). Pool and sauna were great. Room was clean and very comfortable - loved the Lodge theme!
Disliked: If i had to be picky, the keurig coffee pods only had one non-decaf. Yes we could have asked for more, but why? Two people at LEAST two caffeinated coffee pods. The creamer option was powdered coffee mate - yuck. Some half and half options would have been nice. That is all i can 'complain' about.

Would definitely recommend the Lodge...

Liked: The swimming pool & hot tub were the main reasons we choose the Lodge. We were celebrating our grandson's birthday and he loved the pool. The room was very comfortable & clean. The breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: The pillows need replacing as they provide little neck support. Perhaps the Lodge could offer different pillows for their guests.
