Bed without the breakfast

Liked: Great location. Spacious 2 room cottage
Disliked: If you are seeking a bed and breakfast experience their 2 room cottage did not include breakfast. This is quite a very disappointing experience for us. There are ants in the kitchen so be mindful of leaving your food in the kitchen counter. The patio door in the upstairs bedroom does not latch/close so we ended up using a chair to help keep it close while it heavily rained outside. The shower pressure is low.

A charming and comfortable stay...

Liked: Headlands Inn is a charming old three-story house, well preserved, beautifully located, with great staff.
Disliked: The bathroom could use a little attention. The double-doors don't stay open, and the shower door comes off the track when you open it, and one of the shower doors is immoveable.

Beautiful getaway in idyllic Mendocino

Liked: So close to everything. Diane and her cookies and her willingness to accommodate our request to change rooms
Disliked: Bed too soft

Liked: Diane -- afternoon host was great!! she would make homemade cookies dailythe view from our room was great
Disliked: the bed was TOO plush aka uncomfortable the fireplace chain guard didn't close all the way, scary with an active fireplace the room was exceptionally cold each night. in December, this is unacceptable the bath tub barely had luke warm water. I was cold in the room, cold in the tub, and uncomfortable in the bed. Basically for what we paid, it was not worth it.
