Liked: The staff and attention to detail were wonderful, breakfasts were lovely too. Hugely comfortable bed, lovely facilities, set in the most beautiful grounds.

Liked: This is a small family run, well appointed, delightful Country House Hotel in every sense of the word. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a very modern bathroom and a good shower. The attention to detail to make your stay enjoyable is exceptional the staff are lovely. I enjoyed joining the other guests in the evening in the lounge for a glass of wine and canapés followed by great food and a really good wine list. The staff were very attentive to my husband’s dietary needs as he is a Coeliac, a complete English breakfast with GF sausages and black pudding a real treat for him. The hotel is very well situated in a beautiful part of the Lakes ideal for whatever kind of walking you may wish to do and Keswick is just up the road if the weather becomes inclement or you could just sit and watch the red squirrels.
