The epitome of Irish 5-star...

Liked: Gorgeous 5 star estate near Cork University. Impeccable service.
Disliked: A bit far from the train station & a long steep walk back from town.

Amazing hotel but leisure suite...

Liked: The staff were just fabulous, friendly, well presented and so helpful. The ambience of hotel was warm, cosy, classy and welcoming, our room was lovely with great choice of TV channels and the coffee from the cafetiere was a lovely treat. Also, the valet parking was an unexpected bonus. We had lunch in the bar which was stunning.
Disliked: The Spa and swimming pool facilities were a massive let down and that's the one part my sister and I enjoy the most when we travel. It was clean, but the pool was cold and very dull and lacked warmth. The outdoor hot tub was tiny and just the overall experience was not good. The signs displaying certain areas were very unclear and outdated, the font was not very legible.
