Liked: The atmosphere was amazing. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I loved my room on the ground floor. Great bathroom and a big comfortable bed. Loved the wall art in the closet!

Amazing trip with some amazing...

Liked: Location was amazing everything within a 5 minute walk. Will only stay at the haunted hotel!! I love everything about it staff is amazing and the beds are so clean and comfortable feels like home there!!!

A Well run fun place...

Liked: There were 9 of us in 4 rooms and we really enjoyed the courtyard. The rooms were large and the reception staff was excellent. There was a kitchen available for use and a great coffee and pastry shop next door.

The hotel looked better online...

Liked: The hotel is in the French Quarter and you can easily explore from there on foot. We were excited to stay at a Haunted Hotel, but there were a few things which we didn't like in the end. Upon arrival the TV didn't work, but the nice lady who showed us our room fixed it.
Disliked: After booking the room I was informed that we would have a King size bed room in the courtyard instead of a double-bed room which I thought shouldn't be a problem. However, when we arrived, our room didn't have a window nor a balcony. It was located on the ground floor. The AC was set to 67F (19C) and since the outlet was on the high wall just below the ceiling, it blew directly on our bed and couldn't be regulated from within our room. We asked to change it, but it wasn't possible. It was not that hot outside, so we didn't think that it needed to be set to this cold temperature. Being in the room was extremely unpleasant after a while as the AC was blowing very strongly and we were freezing. There was also no other possibility to sit anywhere else than on the bed. There were some people staying at the room above us who made a lot of noise one night and trampled around so that plaster fell off the wall and hit us when we were trying to sleep (around midnight) and we jumped out of bed since we thought a roach or bug had fallen off the wall. The courtyard looked nice, but upon closer inspection the pillows and table cloths were dirty and the colors faded. We are not picky, but we didn't want to sit down there. Unfortunately our expectations weren't met. :(
