Exceptional

Had a nice relaxing time...

Liked: Lovely location, lovely spa, hot tub perfect temperature. Very clean, great value for money
Disliked: Our room was boiling hot with no way of cooling it down, very uncomfortable sleep due to heat. Tried to open windows but there was a bonfire outside so just got smoke filling the room. WiFi didn’t reach as far as our room which was irritating, had to walk down to the end of the corridor to connect to it every now and again

Beautiful house, lovely location.

Liked: Beautiful house and grounds. Restaurant food was delicious, staff were really lovely. Great porridge at breakfast.
Disliked: Sound proofing not great could hear everything going on in rooms either side. As the rooms have baths with showers over, anti slip mats should be standard, strange that u have to call reception to get one! Bed mattress was really very firm as were pillows, maybe a little more comfort in these areas.

I want to come back...

Liked: Would love to have stayed longer to really enjoy the hotel. But it was a very enjoyable but brief stay xx
