Great value stay near the...
Liked: Location is fantastic- one road off from the seafront. Easy check in at the Hatfield hotel & able to park in car park. Room had everything we needed. We are used to a super king bed so going to a double is always interesting. Room had a great shower. Had a couple of drinks at the main hotel but didn't eat as ate with family in Lowestoft.
Disliked: Only negatives- Front door to lodge wasn't locked, so pointless having a pass key. Stairwell to room doesn't smell nice- drain smell but thankfully not in the room

Liked: You could choose not to have or pay for the hotel breakfast - it was much better and cheaper elsewhere.
Disliked: The lodge is opposite the main hotel and I did not realise this when I booked it. The room was on a very busy road and it made opening the window too loud. It was mid summer so it meant being a bit hot at night, although they did provide a fan.

Not quite Hatfield House!!!!
Liked: That we could change the room we didn't like for another room we did like. The man at reception was very helpful and for a little extra charge he found us a room with a sea view in the main hotel as we didn't like the original lodge room.
Disliked: We didn't realise until we arrived that the lodge rooms were in a separate building across the street to the main hotel. The ground floor room we were allocated had frosted glass windows this was because they faced directly onto the street. We could hear people talking by the window outside the room. We were happy once we changed to the new room. Some members of the catering and cleaning staff had attitudes and were a bit unhelpful and rude.
