Liked: The night manager was kind even though he was very new and didn’t seem to have a handle on how things work there. The water was hot and the pressure in the shower was good. The room was tidy, if a bit dilapidated
Disliked: Desk chair was bent and broken, the key never worked at all and I had to call the office if I needed to get into my room, the heater wasn’t up to the task of heating the room, the bed also just had one very thin blanket. I wasn’t able to get a receipt for my stay because the machine wasn’t working correctly.

Excellent budget hotel. Friendly and...

Liked: This excellent budget hotel exceeded our expectations. It has new owners and management and is way better than some of the negative reviews. The staff were very helpful and friendly - Chris at the front desk made us feel very welcome. The location is very convenient to Northampton and area attractions.
Disliked: They did not yet have hair driers in the rooms. I'd expect they'll be getting those soon - this place is definitely on the upswing.

Overall it was a decent...

Liked: Proximity to 91 and rt 5. Bed was very comfortable, tv worked well with decent cable package. You can tell current owners are working to improve it.
Disliked: Very dirty fridge, soap was broken, tub was slightly broken, rug was a little dirty in spots Vending machine and ice machine would be nice additions

Disliked: The a/c was noisy but did not needed it while staying.

Disliked: Frig didn’t work but I didn’t even care because the rest was amazing.

Disliked: I could hear everything in the unit next to mine. The walls are too thin or not enough soundproofing.
