Liked: Location, history and amenities were all great.
Disliked: Since it is an older hotel, it was a little noisy but, nothing terrible.

Liked: The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. The lobby is beautiful and historic.

Liked: Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast in the Peacock Room was wonderful.

Beautiful and quietly made for...

Liked: The old world beauty and character shines through.
Disliked: It has been modified some from original to accommodate contemporary expectations. So it’s a little quirky. We loved that but some might not, like the shower was in a closet.

It was a nice stay...

Liked: the hotel was easy to reach and we were fortunate enough to get parking right in front. The parking lot is actually across the street from the property.
Disliked: The parking lot is across the street from the property which I wasn't a bid fan of. Also, the rooms aren't clearly marked; the numbers are painted on the windows above the door (who knew?). The toilet was at one end of the halll, the shower at the other end, and the sink was nexxt to the bed (we were in a suite, so the hall was in the room, we didn't have to go outside the room to use the facilities. I guess since the hotel is nearly 100 years old, it wasn't bad.

We can say we tried...

Liked: the location is great, staff was very friendly and helpful it was nice to look at the history that was displayed throughout the hotel
Disliked: the bathroom was dirty and towels smelled moldythe room did not offer the basic amenities that should be in any standard room, these would include slippers, robes and a television that offers premium channels to watch or at least the ability for one to log into streaming apps. And what was interesting was when we were checking out the staff told us that our room was one of the rooms the had the most amenities. I'd hate to see what the other rooms looked like. Another disappointment was the grown woman running up and down the hall, yelling back and forth with each other
