A little haven in a...

Liked: The breakfast was extremely good and plentiful with excellent coffee served by a very friendly and efficient proprietor. The location is very handy for Keswick being just a short walk to the market place and a stroll to the theatre is an easy ten minutes.
Disliked: Not much, maybe the bedroom was a bit restricted size wise but lovely and warm with a comfortable bed and all kept very clean. None of this detracted from very enjoyable stay where we were made to feel special.

Liked: Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Graham was really great - really accommodating and easy to communicate with. As a solo female traveller staying in BnBs can be hit and miss but this was top notch.

Liked: My days in the Lake District were the biggest surprise of my trip to the UK! Fate led me to the wonderful choice of Harvington House, where Graham and Gina, the hosts, were incredibly helpful. From the moment I arrived, I felt their warmth. Staying in a cozy single room that had everything I needed, with a super comfortable bed that ensured I had great rest, made my stay even more pleasant. I absolutely loved the breakfasts they prepared with such care, and I really enjoyed chatting with Graham, who always listened to me patiently. Gina also gave me some fantastic travel tips, like where to go for a nice tea and where to buy little souvenirs – all very practical. I sincerely hope they can visit Shanghai so I can show them around! Keswick is a fantastic town, and I loved wandering around here so much that I’ll definitely be back!
