Good location, spacious clean room...

Liked: Staff in the evening were good about changing my room from a disability room to another room at my request . Manager in the morning was very helpful and arranged a taxi for me.Staff offered me a bottle of water when I checked out.Nice spacious room with 2 king beds.Room and linen was clean and had a good light view of Harvard Square.Good location for Harvard safe area.Evening staff gave me good recommendations for Mexican food as I had arrived late and a good bakery nearby for coffee and pastries the next morning.
Disliked: I was initially booked into a disability room which was not made clear on the booking .I had to make the booking in a hurry and hadn't realised that the hotel has no restaurant or bar which would have improved the feeling of sociability especially when arriving in the evening as a solo traveller.The room was cold and couldn't get the heating to work I phoned for a blanket in the night but it didn't seem possible to get one. In the end I used the covers from the other bed in the room. The shower/shampoo gel bottles were very difficult to squeeze and the shower was not very powerful.No minibar snacks or drinks or even water in the room. Basically the hotel is just room only.

Disliked: Rooms felt dated. Restrooms are small. My front door would jam. Difficult to open and close.

Disappointing

Liked: Minimal service for a room costing over $600. No food. Had to go down to lobby in dressing gown to fetch luke warm coffee from a thermos in a cupboard. No bedside lamp on my side of the bed in very small room. Perfectly adequate, but hardly value for money? Location excellent, but at a hefty price.
